It's a Wrap

Back in Bangkok! Almost back in Canada! What a fun and fast few weeks it has been, we leave tomorrow morning.
Here is the last blog from our trip. After our day with elephants, we spent two more days exploring Chiang Mai. Then we flew to Bangkok, and have spent the past two and a half days here wrapping up our trip!

Walking to a Saturday night market in Chiang Mai.

It was a busy place!

We ate some 'Ancient Ice Cream'. Milk tea and coconut flavoured!

Leta eating some complimentary fruit in our hotel, while my parents check their emails.

After a day of learning about elephants, we decided to learn about more animals! Off to the zoo and an aquarium.
Dustin in the back of a songthaew (a truck).

Smelliest animals EVER.

We tried picking out which of these storks are going to bring Ryan and Jenny's baby in August!

Now to the aquarium.

We would rather take pictures in the gift shop than the actual aquarium.

Animals were not enough. We wanted to learn about bugs too!
We went to this insect museum the next day.

They had lots of insects to hold.

Kerry and Leta released some butterflies.
This butterfly must have thought Leta was its mom because she was matching, it wouldn't leave her alone!

We also went to the Long Neck Karen Village in Chiang Mai.

It was very interesting to see the women with rings around their necks, and some with rings around their knees.
Most of them weave, and make scarves to sell to tourists for a living. It takes them two days to make one scarf, which they sell for just over $4 each.

Some of the girls with the neck rings were so young.

Back in Bangkok!

Enjoying the pool at our place one last time.

We did a lot of eating this trip! Sushi in Metropark on our last day.
See you in Canada!!!
