From One End of Thailand to the Other

Hello from Chiang Mai! We are now in Northern Thailand for the next 4 days. Here is a little update from the last couple days:
Lizzy ate some seafood (a piece of octopus to be exact) on a beach in Phi Phi.

A friend Leta met on the beach.

We spent our last day in Phi Phi mainly at the beach, trying to get in as much sun, snorkeling, and swimming as we could!
A sea cucumber!

We also celebrated our last day in Phi Phi with young coconut juice.

We fit in a lot of things on our last day....including getting our feet nibbled by fish! Apparently the fish eat the dead skin off your feet. Yummy.

We enjoyed it!

Yesterday we took a ferry from Koh Phi Phi to Phuket, which is about a two hour journey.
The ocean was pretty rough that day, but nothing us Perepeluks couldn't handle!

We spent one night here, at a hotel on Nai Yang Beach, before moving on to Chiang Mai. $30 a night!

Lunch on the beach in Phuket.

One of Kerry's most favourite meals of the trip- deep fried shrimp toast.

Our very last beach day. Fun waves in Phuket!

From Phuket, we flew 2 hours to the very north of Thailand.
Our hotel in Chiang Mai.

Having some chicken with cashew nuts and rice.
Delicious and cheap food in Chiang Mai.

Leta must have missed a bit of home. Burgers and fries!

Dustin with his chicken and basil, and egg dish.

Thai milk tea. Andy's mom got me hooked on this. SO good!!

We spent our first day in Chiang Mai walking around our neighbourhood. We went into a couple temples.

Inside one of the temples.

Another temple.

Lots of neat things in the old city.

Leta with some sticky rice and mixed vegetables.

Green curry.

Kerry eating a traditional dish from Chiang Mai, called Khao Soi. Crispy noodles with pork.

We are off to spend the day with elephants tomorrow!
