:)

All I really want to say in this post is......
WE'RE ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After 7 years together, Andy decided to seal the deal! He proposed to me at one of the most perfect places on Earth.

As I mentioned awhile ago, we went to Koh Yao Yai which is an island in the south of Thailand during my two week school break. It is the fourth largest island in Thailand, but is very undeveloped, making it one of the most serene islands in the country. We spent seven days there, and stayed at two fabulous resorts. If you ever plan to visit, we can hook you up!

It was so easy to get to the island. Took a plane, car, speed boat (^ this one), and truck to get to our first resort....but were there in a matter of hours (say, a morning of traveling).

I love long tail boats, but speed is needed when you want to get there quickly!

The bungalow we stayed in the first four nights.

Definitely had that Thai feel to it, a water buffalo grazing beside our bungalow.

Lunch with a view.
At our resort.

Can't help but constantly search for the prettiest shells around.

Sand dollars everywhere.

The ocean was warmer than bath water. Seriously.

Boats resting during low tide.

Flowers, flowers, flowers.

Little did I know, this is the last photo of me as a GIRLFRIEND.
Andy and I went kayaking one morning. Andy spotted a sandbar off the tip of the island and took me out there (I enjoy when he paddles and I lounge). We walked out on the sandbar. He got down on his knees (plural) and asked me the big question! Obviously I said YES!

Where it all went down! Moments after it happened.
(Yes, we are wearing bathing suits)!

Celebrating the occasion with banana chips...

...under this palm tree.

We spent the rest of the week dreaming about our wedding (which will happen once we move back to Sask.)
This is what I ate for breakfast every morning.

Gas station on the island.

Playing an intense game of chess during an intense thunderstorm.

We spent the last 3 nights of our vacation at this resort.
The nicest place we have ever stayed.

Our bathroom.

Outdoor shower. Refreshing.

"Do not disturb" and "Please clean" signs. So cute.

Checking our emails before supper.

Andaman Sea.

Crazy funnel clouds moving in.
(Days after surviving our first tsunami warning- after the Indonesia earthquake).

For Leta.

Hawk watching.

Thought I lost Andy.
Found him chilling in this tree.

Husband-and-wife-to-be.
